A New School for Ganta

Cleaning up some desktop files  recently, I found this old link (September 2011) to a UNICEF report on a school in Ganta that the organization supported. It's an uplifting story, but I was especially impressed by  the architecture of the facilities, which seem akin to, if not inspired by, Francis Kéré's award-winning schools in Burkina Faso. The schools apparently opened in 2010, so I hope they're not only holding up three years later, but some of the supplies and functions have come online. While an old news story, perhaps a timely find as a counterbalance to the painful education headlines coming out of Liberia this week.
